On This Tape Are Some Reflective Songs , A Song For And About Women , Some Spittas , And A Good Amount Of Storytelling In The Mix.

Overall , Even Though Some Of The Song’s Audio Just Cuts Abruptly At The End , They Do , More Or Less , Flow Into Each Other . Like I Always Say , Cant Argue With The Artist’s Track Listing.

Now , Hot New Hip Hop Took Down Two Songs On The Tape So If You Were Lucky Enough To Act Quick On Downloading Well.. Good For You.

So On 12-12-12 Macon Hamilton (@MaconHamilton) Dropped His Last Project Until The Summer Time Called #MaconGoingHam Which Is Him Legit Just Going In For Ten Tracks To Keep His Supporters Satisfied Until The Summer Time Lets Jump Into The Review

1) Hoe - This is the opening track and to be honest I didn’t love it it’s not great and it’s not wack it’s just alright the concept is good but something about this track threw me off

2) Ain’t Changed - We transition right into this track Ain’t changed which is defiantly one of the standouts of this Mixtape the way Macon is flowing on this track is dope & lets not forget to mention how dope the beat is

3) Cheer$ - First I wanna applaud Macon for jumping on a J. Dilla beat because this beat is pretty amazing also Macon got off on this track lyrically he impressed on this one

4) 1999 - Another highlight off #MaconGoingHam this is one of the only full length track off the Mixtape and it’s self produced I really liked this track

5) To The Future - The second this best hit I automatically knew this would easily be my favorite track it’s so smooth but so dope and of course lyrically Macon did his thang as usual so defiantly another highlight

6) Thoughts Of Love - The Lupe Sample! Fuck I love that sample but this track is so mellow and smooth I can’t help but vibe out I ended up listening to this track twice just cause it was so smooth

7) VVLIYVH - Another great sample and just another good track by Macon as this Mixtape progresses I seem to like it a lot more

Fame - Macon has another self produced track sampled by Kendrick Lamar which I think was a great selection especially near the ending off the tape
Macon continues to impress me throughout this tape with songs like this

9) Sonetta Blue - If I was too pick a top 3 favorite track off this Mixtape this would defiantly be on the list this track is just all around great from the beat to the lyrics to just overall the message

10) Slow Down - And now were on the last track Slow down which is again self produced this is different from every other track due to the way he’s flowing but I do like it not as much as other tracks but it is good

Stand Outs : Cheer$ , To The Future , Thoughts Of Love , Fame & Sonnetta Blue

Overall Review : Overall Macon put together a very solid project which I expected nothing less. There’s two tracks I could have went without but besides that the production is great and Macons flow and lyrics are on point
Moving forward I expect Macon to put together better projects because I know what he’s capable off

First Time Listening To This Guy And I Have To Say I’m Looking Forward To More. I See A Lot Of Potential In What Ive Heard In This Tape. He Knows Who He Is As An Artist And Can Only Get Better From Here. Now, Where Here Is, Is At The Point Of Making Some Professional Sounding Music That’s Rather Catchy While Also Trying To Get A Message Across.
